Coats Venue, Paisley

Coats Venue is a Gothic revival church, now used as a multifunction events venue.

The stunning Coats Venue was built by the family of Thomas Coats and designed by architect Hippolyte Jean Blanc. Construction began in 1885 and wasn’t completed until 1894, and the result is the truly magnificent building we see today.

The building is a category A listed building and no longer used as a church, but is now a multifunction event venue where anything from festivals, weddings and corporate events take place.

Coats Venue can be found at the west end of the High Street in Paisley (close to Paisley Musuem) and is a major feature of the town’s skyline.
