Sma’sh Hits is a Renfrewshire-based music collective that celebrates and discovers local talent.

The collective meets every month and gives musicians the opportunity to meet collaborate, network, build a community & strengthen the scene.

Join a special digital performance featuring local artists Arbo, C Whyte & Jordan Stewart.

Arbo is a Paisley-based electronic artist who, after playing as a drummer all his life, uses his skills as a musician to develop emotive tracks.

Growing up and embedded in the Paisley & Glasgow music scene, Arbo was exposed to a wealth of incredible music.

His appreciation for rhythm and ‘percussion heavy’ music is contrasting to his love for ambient sounds which can be seen within his own creations.

C Whyte

Ciaran is a 23 year old multi-instrumentalist, hailing from the wonderful artistic hub that is Paisley. In a pre-covid world, you would often find him busking, and playing various gigs all around the UK behind the drum kit, from ceilidh functions to tribute band festivals, and even rock and metal shows with his bands: Dead by Monday and OHNOVA.

As well as being a prolific percussionist, Ciaran also takes pride in his own solo material, and he has become a familiar, smiling face around Paisley as a busker on the High Street. His setlist is a true smorgasbord of genres and styles, including artists all the way from Paolo Nutini to Rush, and from traditional Scottish and Irish folk songs to acoustic ska-punk covers, with the aim to please people of all ages and backgrounds. Another unique feature about Ciaran’s performances is that he utilises his rhythmic abilities by including a bass drum and a hi-hat whenever he plays guitar, which really adds another dimension of dynamism throughout the set.

Ciaran’s sophomore EP, “Title… Uncertain” will be released in early Summer 2021, and is a release not to be missed. Follow his social media and YouTube channels to keep up to date with all of his various goings-on.

Jordan Stewart

Jordan Stewart is a Singer/Songwriter from Paisley, Scotland who has a passion for telling stories and snippets of her life both past and present.

Jordan fell in love with writing and performing after attending a songwriting workshop ran by Create Paisley in 2016 and has been playing at various gigs and events all over Scotland ever since.

Some of Jordan’s stand out gigs have been at Paisley Abbey for The Spree festival 2017 as part of the Paisley The Untold Story Show, Carol Laula’s Wicked Women gigs, Find The Unsigned in Jack Daniels Attic and supporting Jessica Lynn in the Ice Box Music and Arts Centre.

At the end of 2019 Jordan released her newest single ‘X-Ray Vision’ an up-beat and fun track featuring a full band which she recorded with Erskine Music and Media Studios and is hoping to release more music throughout 2021!
