Paisley Halloween Festival present Out of this World – digital film

Tune in on Monday 1 November to find out what actually happened in Paisley town centre this Halloween. The Paisley Public Broadcasting Corporation (PPBC) will have a full news report. Keep your eye on Paisley Is Facebook for our premier.

Halloween Monster Dash

This family event is being organised by Renfrewshire Leisure around the ON-X Sports Centre in Linwood at 12 noon on Sunday, 31 October.

The route will take fun runners on two laps of the scenic Linwood Moss and is a flat course with only a few gentle undulations.

Entrance fee is only £3 for adults and £2 for children.

Don’t forget your costume, it is on Halloween after all.

Paisley First Witches and Wizards Halloween Trail

Follow the fun free Witches and Wizards trail around Paisley town centre from Friday 8 October until Sunday 31 October. If you can name all the Witches and Wizards you will be entered into the spooky spectacular prize draw!

Pick up a leaflet from the Paisley First leaflet racks inside the Piazza Shopping Centre or the Paisley Shopping Centre. Or if you prefer, you can download a copy of the leaflet from the Paisley First website.


Ferguslie Fright Night

The Ferguslie Fright Night annual Halloween celebrations are taking place on Monday 1 November from 6pm at Glencoats Park.

It promises to be as spooky as always with some frightful extras thrown in for good measure.

Halloween Gig at Lochwinnoch

Jericho Hill – the sound of Johnny Cash, will play the Lochbarr, Lochwinnoch, on Friday 29 October.

Jericho Hill played a sell-out gig at the Arts Festival in March 2019, and recently returned to live action. This specially themed Halloween event will feature some surprises and plenty decorations. Come dressed to raise the dead! Always an energetic live act, Jericho Hill will get you out of your seat and onto the dancefloor with songs like Walk the Line, It ain’t me babe, Folsom Prison, and of course, Ring of Fire.

Howlin’ Radio are well known to Lochwinnoch and bring their lovingly crafted renditions of classics from the 60’s, 70’s and beyond! With a twist towards americana and classic rock, these guys are going to get you singing along.

There will also be a wheelchair accessible portaloo on site. We’re delivering the event with our project partners, Williamsburgh Housing Association and Renfrewshire Leisure, which is part of the Culture Collective funded through Creative Scotland. We’re also delivering the event in conjunction with ROAR – connections for life. Food is being provided by Ladyburn Diner, is free and will have vegan and vegetarian options, and the free food packs for cooking at home are provided by the Darkwood Crewe.

It is with great delight we can announce that Linstone Housing Association, working with Corseford Tara and Spateston Community Development Trust can offer two FREE motion picture events on Saturday 30th October at Forbank Primary School.

You can book your tickets for free at our Eventbrite links above – First come – first serve.

Maximum ratio of three children to one adult will be permitted.
Children must be accompanied by a responsible adult who will stay for the duration.
Children attending without a responsible adult will not be permitted entry.

As spaces are limited each child can only book one movie.  This is to ensure as many children as possible get the chance to benefit.

All children will get a goodie bag on arrival.
Tea, coffee and biscuits will be provided for adults (no alcohol permitted).
