Stay safe & enjoy the outdoors

We know you’ll be keen to get out and enjoy Renfrewshire’s stunning parks and outdoor spaces now that you’re able to spend more leisure time outside.

If you are planning to meet up with friends or family, please remember to keep your distance and follow the 2 metre physical distancing rule.

It’s tempting to go straight out and visit some of our many beauty spots. Please plan your journey in advance and stay local (around 5 miles from your home) by walking or cycling to a location nearby – avoiding driving where possible.

There are lots of stunning walks, cycling routes and outdoor spaces throughout Renfrewshire – so there is sure to be an undiscovered outdoor gem near you.

We want everyone to be able to enjoy their time outdoors so please be considerate of your neighbours and those nearby and pick up your litter when you leave.

If you are showing any of the symptoms of Coronavirus, you should stay home.

We want you to enjoy your time outdoors but please continue to stay safe and remember the national guidance – stay 2 metres apart from others, and try to walk or cycle to your destination where possible.
