Monday 26 August, 2019

Dance is one the oldest forms of human courtship, alongside cave painting portraits, and romantic woolly mammoth rides. Be whisked off your feet with some snazzie moves at a LEROC beginners dance classes, combining salsa, ballroom and jive, at LEROC Scotland. Having qualified from in modern jive, Billy Cullen decided to pass on his nimble knowledge by opening LEROC Scotland. Now with a host of instructors over three locations, LEROC Scotland encourages both two-left-feet learners and agile artistes to step onto the dance floor and learn the skills and techniques of this fast-paced partner dance, while also having fun and getting in shape. Galloping guests can learn the steps both through the dance parties held and also LEROC Scotland offering five beginners classes, each lasting one hour. No partner is required as visitors simply turn up, match up and move on up taking steps from Wurlitzer to figures of eight. Up to 90 minutes of freestyle dancing takes place after each class, and lifetime membership allows access to all the party and dance nights LEROC run: The Pollokshaws Burgh Halls, Pollokshaws Road, Glasgow.
