Explore the magic of Hansel and Gretel
Join OneRen this festive season for Engelbert Humperdinck’s classic fairy tale Hansel and Gretel.
Dive into the world of Hansel and Gretel, one of magic, fireflies, and fairies. Watch it come to life through Humperdinck’s lush and majestic music, which has something for every listener – from the beautiful ‘Evening Prayer’ to enchanting folk-inspired melodies. The cast, children’s chorus and The Orchestra of Scottish Opera come together on stage to tell the story of Hansel and Gretel’s grand adventure deep in the enchanted forest where not everything is as it seems. The young pair will need every ounce of courage, cleverness, and hope if they’re to escape the lure of the Witch and her gingerbread hut.
