The latest in a series of inspiring lectures at UWS will feature Dr Sheila Rowan MBE – chief scientific adviser to the Scottish Government.
A keen advocate of Scotland’s world-leading science base and its potential positive impact to the economy, people and the environment, Sheila’s recent work has been a crucial part of one of the most significant scientific breakthroughs of the century – the detection of gravitational waves.
This is a FREE but ticketed event starting at 12noon on Wednesday 13 February.
The event is also part of the university’s wider Super Science Festival.
