Start-Up Street is our low-cost business incubator which provides accommodation and business support for up to two years for early stage and start-up businesses.
The idea for Start-Up Street came after a survey found more than 80% of Renfrewshire start-ups were looking for space to grow, but were put off by high costs and a lack of know-how.
Start-Up Street is now supporting more than 30 small businesses and budding entrepreneurs from its enterprise centre in Paisley and we are developing proposals for further Start-Up Street facilities in Johnstone and Renfrew.
Interested businesses can contact our Business Gateway team by calling 0141 530 2406 or by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org to find out more.
Start-Up Street Paisley
Vacant Council-owned commercial units at 65-71 George Street in Paisley have been converted into a range of low-cost, high-quality digitally-connected workspaces and meeting rooms in the first project of its kind in Scotland.
George Street is the perfect location, next to the University of the West of Scotland business school and close to our business support and employability hubs.
The enterprise centre offers new and growing Renfrewshire businesses their first commercial premises and provides specialist support through a partnership between the Council and youth enterprise charity Launch It.

Launch It Paisley manage the George Street venture day-to-day and also deliver a programme helping young people to overcome barriers and develop their business and entrepreneurial skills.
