Celebrate International Museum Week (13-19 May) with us and visit these excellent museums across Renfrewshire.
It’s the perfect time to explore and learn more about our fascinating history!
We’re always happy to have a reason to go to the stunning Renfrew Town Hall building. With its Disney Castle-style tower, it’s a beautiful building to admire on the outside … and have you ever visited the museum inside?
Renfrew Museum is a 4-star VisitScotland-rated attraction telling the story of the town’s past and present. Based on the four elements (Earth/Fire/Air/Water), visitors to the museum are treated to an interactive experience with spectacular objects, pictures, film and audio – all making this well worth a visit.
Johnstone History Museum

Established and run by the Johnstone History Society, this small but very informative museum is hosted by Morrisons supermarket.
It showcases local industrial history, social artefacts and a host of memorabilia telling the fascinating story of the town.
