The Makers Market is back and online for Sma’ Shot Day 2021. This year’s market is delivered in partnership with business incubator programme and retail academy InCube.
You can browse some of the fabulous handmade items created by local makers and bag yourself some unique pieces.

Camper Plants showcases a range of crocheted and felted plants – the perfect option if you’re looking to add some greenery to your home but aren’t the best at looking after real plants! There is a variety of trailing plants and succulents to choose from.
Knitting on Cloud Nine
Knitting on Cloud Nine believe in the therapeutic and creative powers of knitting and crochet. They are passionate about teaching children and adults. Their kits, courses and projects are modern, mindful, eco conscious and fun!
Playful, pastel, modular jewellery for people who like a little fun in their lives. Designed and made by Eileen Pottle, Pottle Jewellery’s minimalist designs are intended to be mixed, matched and combined. Simple geometric shapes hand-painted in pastel colours together with silver elements bring a tactile sense of play.
Karen Hanvidge Ceramics
Renfrew-based Karen Hanvidge Ceramics makes functional and decorative ceramics. Karen’s ceramic art is inspired by colour, pattern, form and texture and often features the iconic Paisley design.

In addition to photographing birthdays, christenings and weddings, Paisley-based photographer Yvonne Goldie also sells postcards of some of the town’s stunning vistas and buildings.
The Canny Squirrel
Drawing on nature and the Scottish landscape, The Canny Squirrel (designer/maker Katherine Pentney) creates a range of characterful Harris Tweed homewares and accessories featuring intricate embroidered animal designs, all handmade in Paisley. Commissions are also welcome – meaning you can have your pet or favourite animal designed onto any of the products.
NM47 is a small business based in The Workshop Paisley, creating everyday wearable sterling silver and gold jewellery. NM47’s jewellery style comes from mark-making within the natural forging process and manmade textures from hammering the metal – catching the light and creating a shimmer to each piece.
Josef McFadden is a textile designer, artist and screen printer based in Paisley. Since launching in 2016, Josef McFadden has been manufacturing, designing and supplying garments, gifts and prints to customers all around the world. All of the prints and fabrics created by Josef, begin their life as hand illustrated paintings using watercolour, pencils, inks and more. These paintings are then collated digitally to create designs that offer a spectacle of prints for garments, accessories and more.

Atelier Eva ART offers lovingly handmade children’s clothes, accessories and modern quilts, using their own exclusive prints and the best quality fabrics sourced from UK and US designers. Art with heart
‘Art with Heart’ designer framed prints are created by local Paisley artist Lorna Williams. Lorna designs bespoke, personalised and creative artwork presented in beautiful, embellished frames. The ‘Paisley Burdies’ and ‘Tartan Clan’ Scottie dogs and cats are just two of the popular ranges in the Paisley InCube shop that are a favourite with locals and visitors.
