Paisley Weekly Gig Guide – 30 November 2018

Thursday 29th November, 2018

Check out all the gigs and musical goings-on in Paisley with the weekly guide.

Tonight | The Bungalow | Gig starts 8pm | Tickets £7

Tonight The Bungalow is delighted to present The Muldoons with support from The Rubenesques and Secret Public. The Muldoons were a fixture on the Scottish indie music scene from about 1990 onwards, inspired by a diverse range of indie and garage music from the 60s to the guitar pop of the 80s. Just over 20 years later they were persuaded play a one-off return gig at the Bungalow in their home town Paisley. It was such a success the band decided to simply keep on going; supporting Inspiral Carpets’ Tom Hingley and selling out 2 headline nights at King Tuts. Their fan base and enthusiastic reactions convinced them there is a real demand for their brand of optimistic, high tempo, indie guitar music.

The Rubenesques are an indie-folk group known for their soaring vocal harmonies. Offering a brilliantly diverse sound, their well crafted songs include violin, piano and keyboard to provide a melodic foundation for the male and female vocals. No two shows are the same for these guys.

Also on the bill: Secret Public, a rock/punk/indie band from Edinburgh.

Saturday | The Bungalow | Gig starts 8pm | Free entry
