There are few things better than packing a picnic for a sunny day…
Luckily, Renfrewshire is home to a whole host of green spaces for everyone to enjoy during warm, summer days.
So, pack up some snacks, grab your family or some pals, and make your way to one or more of these delightful picnic spots in Renfrewshire.
Clyde Muirshiel Regional Park
Whether you want to spend a relaxing afternoon soaking up the stunning scenery or you fancy testing the vast range of outdoor activities, Clyde Muirshiel is a perfect place to unwind. There are lots of beautiful spots to enjoy a leisurely picnic, with plenty of benches and tables handily located around the park. You can also book a BBQ site at the park by contacting one of the park rangers. If you’re bringing your own portable BBQ, just remember to place it on bricks or stones rather than directly onto the grass or on a picnic table. We don’t want to be damaging the beautiful landscape now, do we?
