The Spree Festival returns to Paisley this weekend… have you got your tickets?

Running from 11-19 October, The Spree will see a host of top acts, including Glasvegas, Hue and Cry, The Snuts, Gruff Rhys, Karine Polwart, Jerry Sadowitz, PP Arnold and Hayseed Dixie take to the stage inside the stunning Spiegeltent in the town’s County Square.

The Wee Spree popular programme of kids activities will also take place as part of the main Spree festival with thousands set to be entertained during the school holiday period.

And the Spree for All fringe festival returns with gigs and events taking place in towns and villages across Renfrewshire.

Bricks4Kidz Camp – Methodist Central Hall, Paisley – Tuesday 15 October

Calling all LEGO fans! You’ll want to sign up for one of the Bricks4Kidz camps in the Methodist Central Hall as part of the Wee Spree. Every camp has a variety of different LEGO-building techniques, crafts and creative play time – and each which will have a Paisley-inspired twist featuring lions, walruses and crocodiles. There’s still a handful of tickets left for the workshops on Tuesday 15 October.


Gruff Rhys – Spiegeltent at County Square – Wednesday 16 October

Super Furry Animals frontman Gruff Rhys brings his solo show to the The Spree on Wednesday 16 October for the only Scottish date of his tour. Gruff is celebrating the release of his new, critically acclaimed album ‘Pang!’, and will be sure to treat the Spiegeltent crowd to a host of brilliant new tracks and classics.


PP Arnold – Spiegeltent at County Square, Paisley – Thursday 17 October

London’s First Lady of Soul, PP Arnold, will perform songs from her six-decade career, including the classics ‘The First Cut is the Deepest’ and ‘Angel of the Morning’ alongside Ocean Colour Scene guitarist Steve Cradock on Thursday 17 October. The Soul legend is also marking the release of her new solo album, “The New Adventures of… PP Arnold”, and this show is not to be missed!



Comedy4Kids Show – Spiegeltent at County Square – Friday 18 October

Comedy Club 4 Kids brings the best stand-ups and sketch acts from the international circuit to The Spree to do their thing for an audience of children (aged 6+) and their families… but without the rude bits! The show is family-friendly, but it’s just like a normal comedy club during the day and kids are allowed in! Book your place by clicking the link below.
