Paisley Halloween Festival – Friday 26 and Saturday 27 October
Paisley Halloween Festival is fast establishing a reputation as a must-see event – so join us and be a part of something wicked! On Friday night, enjoy a Murder Mystery Night at local restaurant Zambretto and two costumed balls at Paisley Town Hall – one for ages 12-16 and the other strictly over 18s. The Festival takes full swing on Saturday with a full day of activities at the Main Stage, Paisley Town Hall and Abbey before a 500-strong parade with spectacular floats makes its way through the town at 6pm. Plus, don’t miss breathtaking aerial displays, flying witches and performances from Beltane Fire Society, Mr Wilson’s Second Liners and the mesmerising Spark! LED drummers well into the evening. The Sectors – The Bungalow
The Sectors return to Paisley’s The Bungalow on Friday a set influenced by 60’s garage, Mod and soul. Don’t miss fantastically energetic covers of The Jam, Small Faces, The Who, The Kinks, Ocean Colour scene, The Yardbirds, The Move, Paul Weller, Northern Soul and a host of Britpop classics.

Glasgow Clan v Milton Keynes Lightning
The Glasgow Clan are in Elite League action against Milton Keynes Lightning at Braehead Arena on Saturday evening. Clan have played the same number of matches as MK this season and sit four points ahead in the league table. A win could push Clan up to 5th in the table.

Erskine Bridge Buster 10k
Have you ever fancied running over the iconic Erskine Bridge? Well now you can by taking on this scenic route, beginning at Erskine Sports Centre before heading along the waterfront and through the woodlands of Boden Boo. Then, make your way across the landmark Erskine Bridge and back to complete the 10k race. Participants must be aged 15 years old or older on the day of the race and you must sign up in advance.
