Clyde Muirshiel Walking Festival – Saturday to Monday
Stretch your legs over the long weekend with this fantastic festival. The walks on offer vary in pace and duration to appeal to all levels, with leisurely-paced strolls and more serious hill walks. Some of the easy walks on offer include a Fairlie Awesome Walk and Inverclyde Coastal Trail and take up to two hours. There’s also moderate walks at approximately four hours in length and more strenuous, full-day walks. There are a number of walks on each of the days, led by local people from walking groups such as The Ramblers and co-ordinated by the Clyde Muirshiel Countryside Ranger Service. Paisley Abbey Tower Opening and Coffee Morning – Saturday – 10:30am
Have you ever wondered what the view is like from the top of Paisley Abbey? Well, now you can see the spectacular sights for yourself at this special Paisley Abbey Tower Opening and Coffee Morning to raise funds for Malaysia Scouting Expedition. Tower tours start at 10:30am and are every 30 minutes – just be ready to climb a lot of steps!

Dirty Harry and Special Guests – The Bungalow – Saturday – 8pm

Fox and Hounds Beer and Music Festival – Houston – 12pm
Head to the Fox and Hounds for its annual Beer and Music Festival this Sunday. The fun begins at 12pm with a host of live music and over 30 beers to sample – including popular brewers from up and down the country. There’s something for everyone with wine & prosecco, spirits, cider, and soft drinks all available at the outside bar. With free entry to the festival and a BBQ throughout the day, what more could you ask for?
