Surrounded by rolling countryside Bridge of Weir is one of the most sought-after residential areas in the West of Scotland.

The village benefits from all the perks of countryside living whilst enjoying fast and easy access to the M8 motorway connecting the village to Glasgow and beyond.

The River Gryffe which flows through Bridge of Weir is a popular spot for angling and the river hosts brown trout, grayling and occasionally Atlantic salmon. Bridge of Weir Primary and is situated in the village and there is St Fillan’s Primary School nearby. Private school St Columba’s in neighbouring village Kilmacolm. The catchment school for secondary education is Gryffe High in Houston and St Benedict’s High School.
