A well attended day-long workshop was held on Sat 7th Sept at Wevolution, Paisley. For those who missed May’s workshop, this workshop offered another chance to take part in a daylong beginners’ workshop exploring natural dyeing techniques led by textile artist Gillian Steel.
Woad dyeing was the main focus of the workshop but the use of cochineal dye (i.e. bug based) was also explored.
