Paisley In Song – 17th October 2019

Throughout 2019, Paisley-born singer/songwriter Michael Cassidy explored Paisley’s incredible history of songwriting and its poetic legacy as the starting point for a series of songwriting and music workshops with local young people from Create, Castlehead High School and Paisley Grammar, as well as a group of adults from RAMH.

For The Spree 2019, the public was invited to join Michael and special guests at Paisley Arts Centre for a night of new songs inspired by this historical research and to witness the start of a fresh chapter in Paisley’s illustrious songbook.
