Sensory Safe Space at Sma’ Shot Day

A sensory safe space will be available at the Sma’ Shot Day celebrations in Paisley on Saturday 6 July for those with additional support needs.

The sensory safe space is located inside the Back Hall of St Matthew’s Church. This will be a quiet space specifically created for individuals with additional support needs and will feature arts and crafts, lighting, gentle music and soft seating. This will be available to drop in from 12 noon to 5pm on Saturday 6 July.

Support workers from Disability Resource Centre and Spinners Gate will be on hand to assist in the space.

How can I access Sensory Safe Space at St Matthew’s?

Wheelchair access to the Hall/Sensory Safe Space is available via St Matthew’s Car Park on Gordon Street, across from Orchard Street Car Park.

Stewards and staff inside the St Matthew’s will help to guide you to the room.

St Matthew’s have a disabled toilet however it is not fully accessible.
