Step into the unknown, where reality blurs and dreams take on a life of their own. Six dreamers welcome you to their slumber party.
As we slip into sleep, the ordinary world falls away, revealing a maze of lucid dreams where strange characters beckon you further.
Get ready for wild feats and surreal moments as circus and theatre collide, pulling you deeper into a world just on the edge of consciousness.
This is your invitation to explore the hidden corners of the mind, but remember: the line between dream and reality is thinner than you think.
This performance will be the culmination of four solid months of circus training for the cast, who are students of Aerial Edge Foundation Course in Circus Arts.
The six performers have had a month of working with director Michelle Ross to develop the concept and create a coherent show.
About the Director
Six Dreams director Michelle has been working with Aerial Edge Foundation Course students over the past two months in their theatre classes, helping to develop the ensemble in preparation for this show creation.
Michelle is a performer and director with a passion for combining circus and theatre to create meaningful experiences for her audiences.
She has always been excited about audiences experiencing circus as close as (safely) possible, to truly experience the power of her performers, so she is excited to work with this cohort of students to realise this immersive circus show.
After studying at the National Centre for Circus Arts, Michelle returned to her home city to complete her Masters years at the University of Glasgow.
Her performance and devising credits are most notably Ellie Dubois’ award-winning No Show, which was performed all round Scotland and at the Roundhouse and Soho theatres in London, and Superfan’s Nosedive, performed at the Barbican in London.
