Whether you live, work or study here, we can help you make the most of Paisley and Renfrewshire.

Each of our towns and villages has its own unique offering of schools, shops, parks, restaurants and cultural activities. From high end golf courses (we’ve got more than one!) and award winning cafés, to walled gardens, woodlands and even a volcano! Renfrewshire has so much to offer you.

We have fourteen stunning towns and villages, all packed full of history and heritage. Exploring the area is easy thanks to a wide network of train, bus and cycling routes. Bishopton, Howwood, Johnstone, Langbank, Lochwinnoch and Paisley can all be accessed by train. But if two wheels are your thing, the National Cycling Network routes 7 and 75 both run through Renfrewshire.

Our places all have wonderful local events throughout the year. From Gala Days, fetes and village celebrations, to our major events. Living here will give you loads of opportunities to get involved in your community.

If you are thinking of moving to Renfrewshire to live, we’ve got great schools, accessible transport links and a wide range of property. Every town and village has something special. Whether you’re looking for a family home, your first flat, or a rental, it’s a great place to put down roots.

For students, we have great cafes and pubs and easy transport into Glasgow and further afield. Paisley is home to the University of the West of Scotland and West College Scotland, and we’re so proud of the students in our communities.

Live in Paisley and Renfrewshire, it’s a great place to make your home!

Loads to see and do on your own doorstep

I've lived and worked around Paisley for the majority of my life and so it holds a special place for me - it'll always be a place I see as home. Paisley is unique with a great mix of people, places and events to enjoy throughout the year.
