Ice Rink and Festive Funfair

Get ready to jingle all the way because Renfrewshire Council and Scotland’s Theme Park have joined forces to bring you the coolest Christmas event in Paisley.

The spectacular under-cover outdoor Ice Rink with themed Bavarian bar makes for the perfect family festive day out. Online discounts are available for anyone with a PA postcode and Student / Young Scot cardholders. ASN sessions provide extra support for individuals with sensory needs, along with their families and caregivers, so they can have a wonderful time in a calm and enjoyable atmosphere.

Whether you’re an adventurous thrill-seeker or prefer a more relaxed experience, a family with kids or just young at heart, our festive funfair has you covered. Just don’t forget to scream if you want to go faster.

Paisley’s Cosy Christmas Trail
Thursday 28 November – Saturday 5 January
Help find and name all our cute and cosy Christmas characters hiding in local business windows an d you could win a prize with our Christmas Trail. Plus there will be a FREE Christmas chocolate treat for every child who completes the trail!

Pick up your trail leaflet from the Paisley First leaflet racks in the Piazza or Paisley Centre. Don’t forget to get your free activity sheet too!

Santa’s Grotto
Santa’s Grotto makes a return to the Paisley Centre. Open on the top floor of the centre on Saturday 7, 11 and 21 December from 11am – 3pm.

Best Dressed Christmas Window Competition
Wrap up warm, grab the family and take in the festive window displays created by our local town centre businesses.

To make sure you see them all, just grab a leaflet from our leaflet racks in either shopping centre. Judging will take place on Saturday 30th November with this year’s Guest Judge, local artist Celie Byrne.

12 Days of Christmas Competition
Follow Paisley First on social media and, from 1-12 December, fantastic prizes from local businesses are up for grabs every day! But you can only enter via Facebook and Instagram social media channels so make sure to be following @PaisleyFirst!

This second multimedia lecture, drawing upon recorded song, artistic illustration and recitation, challenges received opinion and endeavours to place Tannahill alongside the great satirists of the 18th-century Vernacular Revival.
