Lapwing Lodge Outdoor Centre is owned and run by West Region Scout Council.
Lapwing Lodge has varied and flexible accommodation. The accommodation units can be booked individually or together to suit group size and requirements.
Activities on offer include a High Ropes course, archery, canoeing, kayaking, raft-building and cycling trails.
Lapwing Lodge started life as a sanatorium for Coats Mill workers in 1910. It has been owned by the Scout Association since 1988.
Facilities are not limited to Scout Association use. The lodge is open for youth organisations, community groups, corporate bookings, weddings and schools.
