Now you can take a journey through Paisley’s fascinating music past with a free audio walking tour.

Discover everything from the ancient musical works uncovered in Paisley’s medieval abbey and the inspirational poems and songs of Robert Tannahill to Paisley’s famous Punk scene and the stories of the town’s modern day artists.

Launched as part of The Spree 2021, the tour lasts approximately an hour and can be downloaded to your mobile device via the free walking app GeoTourist.

The tour sets off from Forbes Place and takes approximately an hour to complete. When following the tour, please take care when crossing roads and be aware of trip hazards, particularly on Brown’s Lane and Meetinghouse Lane, which are both uneven in places.

The audio tour was created in collaboration with Art Boss, Renfrewshire Leisure’s group of young arts producers, and Lateral North.
