The Building Paisley project offers P7 pupils the opportunity to both develop their architectural skills and learn about Paisley’s architectural heritage. Collective Architecture in partnership with Lateral North have been appointed to deliver an annual programme of architectural workshops to Renfrewshire school pupils between 2017 and 2020. To date, 40 primary school workshops and 12 secondary student workshops have been delivered as part of Building Paisley with P7’s from Brediland PS, Todholm PS, Glencoats PS & St Catherine’s PS.
2017-2018
The first project ‘Building Paisley’ took place in 2018 with P7 pupils from Brediland Primary School learning about Paisley’s architectural heritage and the methods by which it can be surveyed.
