Glasgow Museums Publishing is delighted to present a new book by Edward Johnson, Curator of Medieval and Renaissance Art at The Burrell Collection.
The latest in a series of books exploring different areas of the Collection, Ed has carefully selected over 50 of the most intriguing pieces which showcase the Medieval and Renaissance period.
To celebrate the launch of our new book, join us at The Burrell Collection on the 850th anniversary of the canonization of St Thomas Becket for a talk and tour of the objects featured. A casket linked to Becket is one of the key pieces featured in the book.
A short talk by Ed will be followed by a tour of some of the objects from the Collection, after which you are invited to join us for tea and coffee.

The lavishly illustrated book is available from the shop at the Burrell Collection priced at £10 from 21 February.
