Perch Corner is a large, south-facing garden extending to over half an acre with formal areas and woodland paths. The garden overlooks Stanely Reservoir and beyond to the Gleniffer Braes. Planting consists of a vibrant array of mature shrubs and rare trees, which are more often found in extensive west coast gardens, including a range of magnolias, camellias, rhododendrons, azaleas and acers. Specimens include *Davidia Involucrata*, tulipa, copper beeches and cornus. Children are welcome to explore in the woodland area and garden.
This is a fundraising event for the open garden charity Scotland’s Gardens Scheme which raises money for hundreds of local charities.
