This summer Glasgow Libraries are teaming up with the UCI Cycling World Championships to celebrate sport and the city with a series of 10 free city-wide author events and creative writing workshops discussing fiction and non-fiction sporting stories.
As part of this events programme come along to Cardonald Library and join Scotland Stars FC author Danny Scott for a journey into the beautiful game of football. Enjoy a reading from an action-packed extract from one of his books and expect interactive challenges, loads of quizzes and perhaps even a penalty shoot out!
