Glasgow Life are currently advertising on Glasgow Guarantee for a Junior Digital Technician Apprenticeship, based at Glasgow Museums Resource Centre and are holding an information session for interested young people (must be Glasgow Guarantee eligible) to attend and find out more about this exciting and interesting new apprenticeship opportunity.
About the Apprenticeship:
The Junior Digital Technician apprentice will work alongside and learn from a small team of digital technicians and film makers within the Burrell Renaissance Project’s Digital team and will undertake training to achieve a qualification in Information Technology. This 2 year apprenticeship would suit someone who is interested in digital work. Duties can include but not limited to:
•Assisting with installing digital and audio visual hardware and software
•Testing digital and audio visual hardware, software and content
•Assisting with the maintenance of this hardware and software
•Assisting with digital content management systems

Applicants must be registered on the Glasgow Guarantee recruitment website. To be eligible to register, applicants must be aged 16-19 years old and reside within the Glasgow City Council postcode boundary or have attended a Glasgow City Council secondary school.
