Much to Write Home About: Creating Writing Workshop

Saturday 28 September, 2019

Where is your home? Is it a building, a city, a country? Or is it something else — something more intangible like a group of people…or even just a feeling? In this creative writing workshop, we will write our way to a deeper understanding of the word ‘home.’ Led by Gaar Adams, a nonfiction writer and creative writing teacher whose work has appeared in internationally-recognized outlets like Rolling Stone, The Atlantic, VICE, Foreign Policy, Slate, NPR, and Al Jazeera, this workshop is open to anyone with a story to tell, an urge to create, or a curiosity about putting pen to paper and seeing if the words lead you home.

This workshop is free but booking is essential. Please book using the eventbrite link listed below.
