Going Green – The Drive for Efficiency A new display inspired by James Watt, the Scottish scientist. Famous for inventing a condenser that reduced the amount of coal required to drive a steam engine, the display showcases his work in a modern-day context of energy efficiency and climate change. Central to the display is a Tesla car, Model S P85+ and a rare Honda Insight Mk1 from 2000.
It also demonstrates how we test air quality, monitor oceans and make personal statements about the environmental dangers our world faces. Going Green is sure to enthral visitors of all ages and will be an important talking piece for the younger generations.
