What’s OnWe’re delighted to welcome I Am Loud to the festival! Come along to watch as poets come to the stage to compete in the Loud Poets West Regional Slam Heat. The night will be hosted by Kevin Mclean, as 9-12 poets compete for a prize of £200 and entry into the Grand Slam Final with a £3,000 prize. Hosted by Kevin Mclean and featuring last year’s West Slam Champion Gray Crosbie.
I am Loud (AKA Loud Poets) are a well-kenned name in Scotland’s poetry scene over the last decade, from their award-winning slam series to hosting regular poetry nights in Edinburgh. All with a goal of bringing spoken word poetry to the masses! They have performed at countless venues and events across the UK and around the world, including Edinburgh, Brighton and Prague Fringe festivals, Edinburgh’s Hidden Door Festival and London’s VAULT Festival.
