Get set, go – entries are now open for this year’s Paisley 10k Road Race and Fun Run!
Thousands of runners will take to the streets on Sunday 17 August 2025 when the event returns to the town.
Event organisers, OneRen, are aiming high and hope to break last year’s record-breaking total of over 4,500 participants in the 10k Road Race and Fun Run.
Who can take part?
There’s something for everyone. Whether you’re hoping to set a new personal best in the 10k or want to get more active while enjoying some of Paisley’s most famous landmarks.
The Paisley 10k Road Race is a flat, fast race. Runners will head out to the west of the town after a loop around Paisley’s historic town centre. Over 3k of the route will be on the Paisley Canal to Kilmacolm cycle track. The start and finish line is located in County Square, right outside Paisley Gilmour Street train station.
Scottish Athletics have verified the 10k, ensuring it is accurately measured. Many past runners have achieved their 10k personal best in Paisley, making it a great race if you’ve got a time target in mind.
Why not practice at one of these scenic running routes in Renfrewshire.
Councillor Lisa-Marie Hughes, Chair of OneRen says “The Paisley 10k and Fun Run is a fantastic event that brings the community together. It’s great to see so many people getting involved and supporting one another. Last year’s event was our most popular to date with over 4,500 runners participating. We hope this year there are even more runners taking part to enjoy such a brilliant event.”
It is a major date in Paisley’s sporting and events calendar – and in the community’s fundraising one too – with many of the fun runners raising money for charitable causes.
The event is brought to you by OneRen and supported by Renfrewshire Council.
