Paisley is the stage this week for outdoor projections and a digital exhibition called Paisley Eco Pixels.
The project offers a fusion of projection mapping and digital art exhibition featuring Renfrewshire architecture and environments.
The Refractive Artists Collective, led by climate artist Jamie Wardrop, will host an indoor exhibition at 2 County Square, Paisley and a series of outdoor Projections onto 1 High Street, Paisley on the evenings of 27, 28 and 29 March.
1 High Street in Paisley town centre will be reimagined through the vibrant images of artists Jamie Wardrop, Demelza Kingston, Ally Wallace, Berger & Wirz, Thomas Lusk, David Brodie and Marie Chiriac. Together, they will inspire us and energise our shared public space, bringing awareness of the environmental tensions and the potential of reimagining Paisley and the wider Renfrewshire environments.
The Paisley Eco Pixels indoor exhibition at 2 County Square offers insights into the artworks projected onto 1 High Street, discover photography, visualisations of Paisley’s changing climate, experimental abstract short films, and interactive projected installations, presented as a dynamic blend of completed pieces and works in progress.
This exhibition invites you into a contemplative space, where you can take time to appreciate the innovative digital and film-based creations on display.
