Who are Paisley Opera?

Paisley Opera isn’t just your average choir. It’s a vibrant community of music enthusiasts who come together to stage full operas, complete with costumes and staging. Whether you’re a seasoned opera buff or someone who has never sung a note, Paisley Opera believes in the power of music to unite people from all walks of life.

Their next endeavour is ‘Gounod’s Faust’, a timeless classic that features catchy melodies and a gripping storyline.

Join them as they bring this epic tale to life on stage, singing alongside professional opera singers and orchestral players.

Don’t worry about daunting foreign languages – operas are performed in a special ‘Paisley’ translation, making it accessible to all.
