What’s OnA family friendly evening of all those great classic works you hear and say to yourself Now I recognise that from somewhere…. Some are obvious – the William Tell Overture for example – and others not so obvious – the Gypsys Song from Carmen which features in Theres Something About Mary to name but one!Our two featured soloists – Elizabeth Mailley, Mezzo-Soprano, and Stephen Gallacher on piano – bring their stunning talents to the fore in feature performances including Summertime by Gershwin (Harts War) and the slow movement of Rachmaninovs 2nd Piano Concerto (Brief Encounter).All profits from this concert will be donated to the #changethetune campaign to fight for financial equality in instrumental tuition in Scottish Schools.
