The sixth edition of Manifesto Of Bliss, the bi-monthly night celebrating counter-culture at The Poetry Club, hosted by DJs Death Wish & Blood Stain (aka Brother Joseph & David Keenan), will take place on Thursday 29 August 2024.
The night presents a live version of their cult radio show, Manifesto of Bliss, which covers all contemporary manifestations of counter-cultural joy, with a remit that takes in music, literature, DJs, live bands, art works and good times.
Heading along for the ride is Kinbrae – the musical project of twin brothers Andy & Mike Truscott, based in Edinburgh and Fife. Kinbrae play a mixture of brass, acoustic guitar, percussion and musique concrete to create a uniquely experimental yet accessible form of ambient, classical music. Joining them is modular-synth experimenter Ty Lumnus, who creates otherworldly dystopian soundscapes.
