Pop singer Rebecca Black found almost overnight success in 2011 as a young teen with the viral smash ‘Friday,’ which she followed with more Billboard-charting tunes. In her late teens, she re-emerged with a more mature, reflective electro-pop on songs like 2016’s ‘The Great Divide’ and 2019’s ‘Anyway.’ Still sticking to stand-alone song releases a decade after ‘Friday,’ she issued the upbeat ‘Girlfriend’ in early 2021.
