If you want to have fun, meet new friends and keep fit, check out LEROC, the club that teachers “LEROC” a Modern Jive. This fusion of jive and Salsa with a dash of dirty dancing which is all easy to learn, sociable and fun, and can be danced to any music with a steady beat. Organisers are looking for new members and say you only need to pick up a few moves to get you looking like a professional. Spokesman Billy Cullen said: “At LEROC classes there are plenty of opportunities to mix and meet regardless of whether you come on your own or with friends, as everyone changes partner every two or three minutes during the class. “There is no set course or need to enroll, no need to book in advance, you can just turn up at any venue Monday, Wednesday or Thursday week nights and join in the fun!” He added: “It is fun because it’s easy to learn, it is primarily a fun social night, with dancing making it a complete night out. Complete beginners are welcome every night – the most important thing to remember is to have a really good time. All you have to do is arrive for the Beginners class at 7.30pm with or without partner at one of the venues.
