Glasgow and slavery

Tuesday 5 May, 2020

This tour will reveal a variety of objects stored at GMRC which are connected to Glasgow’s part in slavery from the 1600s to the 1800s. These range from old maps and prints, to portrait paintings, and the personal possession and everyday goods which would have once been adorned Glaswegians living in the city.
