Paisley Arts Centre and Tenement TV are thrilled to announce an electrifying weekend of gigs celebrating Scotland’s vibrant music scene and Renfrewshire’s cultural heritage. Taking place on FRIDAY 21ST MARCH and SATURDAY 22ND MARCH, this exciting partnership will showcase some of Scotland’s most promising talents, with PARLIAMO headlining Friday and LIZZIE REID taking the stage on Saturday.

Supported by FUTURE PAISLEY and delivered by ONEREN, the collaboration underscores a shared commitment to creating dynamic platforms for emerging artists while celebrating the richness of Scotland’s cultural landscape.

A SHARED VISION FOR SCOTTISH MUSIC Tenement TV, a leading online music platform, is known for spotlighting emerging and independent artists through exclusive live sessions and interviews in intimate, creative settings. This partnership with Paisley Arts Centre represents a significant step in providing a stage for Scotland’s most exciting acts while fostering a space where artists and audiences can connect deeply.

Fresh off the success of her critically acclaimed debut EP Cubicle, which was shortlisted for the SCOTTISH ALBUM OF THE YEAR AWARD, LIZZIE REID brings her emotionally raw song writing to Paisley Arts Centre. Reid’s hauntingly beautiful songs delve into themes of love, loss, and identity, earning her comparisons to luminaries like Laura Marling and Angel Olsen. With support from BBC RADIO 1, 6 MUSIC, and a growing international fanbase, Reid’s intimate performance promises to be unforgettable.

Mairi Sutherland is a singer-songwriter and artist from Scotland, known for her emotive songwriting and distinctive fingerpicking guitar style. Drawing influence from the likes of Laura Marling, Nick Drake, Joni Mitchell, and Fleet Foxes, her music blends open tunings and folk-rooted melodies with intricacies inspired by the prog rock that captivated her as a child. Her lyrics, often playfully deep, delve into themes of over-thinking, emotional processing, and personal reflection.

Alongside her music, Mairi is passionate about storytelling, weaving mythical narratives into her songs and bringing them to life through original illustrations and animations, beginning to incorporate these into her live shows to create an immersive experience.
