About this Event
Women in Chamber Music presents: Hues of AUTUMN, part three of a collective chamber music concert series, comprising of all-female, professional musicians, collaborating for an exciting program inspired by the vibrant colours and vivacity of the season. This concert is especially unique as the robust program was curated to feature inspiring artwork coupled with each piece.
This concert will feature musicians performing a variety of instruments, including violin, viola, cello, and four-handed piano.
The program features classical favourites including Piazzolla, Fauré, Glasunov, and more!
All of our performers are young, professional musicians and recent music school graduates, who have studied in world-class institutions across the UK, US and Europe. Our goal as a collective is to provide a performance platform for female musicians, while delivering exceptional concerts that are sure to delight. We also will be donating a portion of the proceeds to the Glasgow Women’s Aid.
WICM believes classical music is for everyone, not just the elite musician, listener, or connoisseur. We invite you to join us for an evening of beautiful live music and the art that inspired each ensemble’s program.
