The Ac30’s Live At The Bungalow, Paisley

The AC30s are a 7-piece experienced and highly professional band based in the Midlands with a vast knowledge of the music they play. Concentrating on original Jamaican Ska, Rocksteady and Reggae genres (with a dash on 2-Tone here and there), they pride themselves on being true to the original recordings.
The band are also proud to have been the backing band for chart topper Susan Cadogan – Hurt So Good 1975 (Fever etc), Carroll Thompson – Im So Sorry, Hopelessly in Love – 1981, Troy Ellis (Son of Alton Ellis) and the U.K touring band of Stranger Cole (Uno Dos Tres, Bangaran, Rough and Tough. Adding to the list of legendary performers. They have supported & shared the bill with many famous well-known legends. In November 2016 the AC30s share the bill with the legendary Ken Booth, Dave and Ansell Collins and The Blockheads at the Skamouth 2016 Festival in Great Yarmouth whilst backing Susan Cadogan. At the same festival in 2017 they shared the bill with The Heptones, Sultan Ali (son of Prince Buster) and The Cimarons whilst backing Carroll Thompson. The AC30s were the backing band for Derrick Morgan at Skamouth 2019 and appearing with Dave Barker (Dave and Ansel Collins) in June 2019. Members of the band have separately recorded and performed live with Ken Boothe, Jimmy Cliff, Wyclef Jean, Black Uhuru, Bad Manners, the UB40 brass section and The Beat Ft Rankin Rogers to name but a few.
Whether you are a hardened 2-Tone fan, Reggae lover or into the old Rocksteady beats of Jamaica, the AC30s are proven to cover them all and keep everyone happy. With a set list comprising of Desmond Dekker, Pluto Shervington, Prince Buster, John Holt, Max Romeo, Ken Boothe, Jimmy Cliff, Alton Ellis, Toots and The Maytells to name but a few along with original material, audiences find it hard keeping off the dance floor!
