What’s OnSt Andrew’s Sporting Club brings boxing back to the Braehead Arena, after a six-year absence from the venue.
The Battle Of The Legends event will be headlined by Ricky Burns vs Willie Limond. Collectively, the pair have fought 100 pro contests – picking up British, Commonwealth, European and World honours. The two now meet for the first time in what could be either fighter’s swansong.
The undercard will feature Commonwealth Games 2022 medallist Matty McHale, Scottish Super Lightweight champion Martin Crossanand Glasgow’s only professional female boxer Cassidy Todd.
Last year, Jake Limond made history by boxing on the same bill as his dad – he will be doing the same again as both feature on this event. Full undercard details will be released in coming weeks.
