What’s On‘Revolution Sound’ is a Band/project keeping alive and celebrating the songs music and spirit of one of the most energetic, exciting and creatively diverse era’s in Rock music history , the explosive Punk and New wave era of the late 70’s and early 80’s .
That very important era that changed the face of rock music forever and inspired so many through its energy excitement , diversity and attitude and provided so many with an important outlet to musically express themselves in an exciting and meaningful way. ‘Revolution Sound’ is a celebration of all this ., the Root of the bands musical love and inspiration. .
The Set mainly consists of an eclectic/diverse mix of songs to celebrate the Bands root and main influences from the Punk/Pot-Punk/New wave era of late 70’s and early 80’s, and original material is now also being added to the Set . Our Set aims to appeal to those of a ‘certain age’ but also hopefully turn some of a younger persuasion who weren’t around back in the day, onto the ‘Revolution Sound’ as well. The band also hope to make some recordings of their own also at some point.
