Oblique welcomes one of the fastest rising stars to their club series.
Modeā is quickly becoming a household name amongst his Irish peers. Hailing from Donegal, the young DJ and producer has already established himself as one to watch in the scene. Starting his musical journey in his early teenage years, Modeā has developed a sound like no other. His signature productions unfold with the perfect blend of mind-altering techno and hypnotic melody, capturing an energy which sets him aside as one of Irelands most prestigious talents. With a string of upcoming releases on technos finest records labels, Cristians talents havent gone unnoticed. 2022 sees him move from strength to strength, solidifying his position as a regular on Alan Fitzpatricks infamous We Are The Brave imprint. Modeās Shine set to release on Fitzpatricks imprint has been conjuring a tornado of support as of recent with the likes of Adam Beyer closing out his Awakenings set with it. Modeās release on Dense & Pikas label Kneaded Pains also garnered support from veterans in the scene. Modeās rise to glory has been fast and electric and hes not set on stopping any time soon.
Curated by DJ and producer Stephen Kirkwood he said; It’s been exactly 10 years since I delved into the world of promoting my own night ‘Culture’ in my hometown, and I am very to be bringing the Oblique series to The Poetry Club. The past 10 years I’ve spent working on my sound, building my studio business and working with other artists from all different genres. It’s been an amazing period for learning the craft and releasing music on some awesome labels! Now I’m looking to take it all on the road and showcase new music, and cutting edge artists that are killing it across the spectrum with a brand new concept – Oblique.
